The Ainu people are the indigenous people around the northern part of the Japanese archipelago, especially in Hokkaido.
According to the “Hokkaido Ainu Survey of Living Conditions” conducted by Hokkaido in 2009, the number of Ainu people known by municipalities in Hokkaido as survey targets is 13,118.
They say that everything in nature is supposed to have a soul.
It’s kind of wonderful to take care of natural things like that.
